Velfont Thermo-regulating range: The definitive solution to temperature problems
The Velfont® Thermo-regulating products incorporate the ‘Phase Change Materials’ (PCM) technology developed by NASA to control temperature variations, which play a key role in sleep.
How it works and how it interacts with our body:
The Outlast material printed on the fabric is made of natural wax microcapsules that react to body temperature, turning from solid to liquid and vice versa during the night to regulate your body temperature.
- 1: Body temperature rises
- 2: Thermo-regulating fabric absorbs the remaining heat
- 3: This excess heat is stored
- 4: Body temperature drops
- 5: The fabric releases the stored heat
- 6: Body temperature is restored
This interactive process is repeated throughout the night, resulting in an ideal microclimate that maintains the perfect temperature, while controlling the fluctuations between hot and cold that the body experiences during rest and reducing sweating and related discomfort.

SkinComfort® products are included in our Thermo-regulating Range because, due to their properties, they contribute to a comfortable rest at the optimum temperature, free of sweat. They are 100% complementary to the current Thermo-regulating Range, as they are designed to be in contact with the skin.
This treatment provides multiple benefits thanks to the combination of 3 properties:
- Moisture Management: It incorporates a moisture management treatment that promotes the evaporation of sweat and quick drying of the fabric, providing long-lasting comfort.
- Thermo-regulation by PCMs: Thanks to the presence of PCMs, the Outlast® Fresh2SKIN® treatment interacts with body temperature promoting rest at the optimal temperature.
- Menthol finish: Due to its natural properties, it enhances the sensation of freshness when the cold receptors of the skin come into contact with the menthol by nervous stimulation.
The Outlast® Fresh2SKIN® treatment is imperceptible, as it does not alter the properties of the fabric, is skin-friendly and dermatologically tested. It is also wash resistant and certified.
